Daniel Howell posts YouTube vlog divulgence struggles with depression

Daniel Howell has posted a vlog explaining his battle with depression.

“I haven’t talked about this before since I’ve always suspicion it was something we was still going through,” he posted to his 6.5m subscribers.

The YouTuber and former Radio 1 presenter said: “It’s a outrageous partial of my life and we just consider it’s weird for me to not speak about it.”

It’s estimated 1 in 4 people knowledge mental health problems any year in the UK.

Daniel seemed on Radio 1 with with associate YouTuber Phil Lester from Jan 2013 to Apr 2016, presenting shows like The Internet Takeover.

“Depression is like I’ve vexed into a hole,” Daniel – before famous as danisnotonfire – explains in his video.

“Normal life and everybody else is out of strech and we am stuck on the floor.

“I don’t feel sad, we don’t wish to cry.

“It’s that we don’t feel anything at all.”

“When I’m vexed we have no energy, we have no will to do anything other than lay lifelessly in bed for hours,” he says.

The 26-year-old also suggested he’s been seeing a therapist for scarcely 3 years.

“Being means to be totally honest about anything with someone we can trust has totally remade my life,” he admits.

“It stops me feeling alone in my darkest thoughts.”

Daniel also spoke about because he hid it from others.

He says he didn’t wish to have “sympathy”, or for it be “an excuse”.
